You might want to take your paint samples with you when you pick out carpet so that you can pick carpet that is going to accent your paint and not end up making it look a different color like pink or grey. You will also want to try to pick out carpets for your high traffic areas that can hide stains and dirt so that your carpet won't look dirty. You will also want to get a higher quality carpet for the higher traffic areas so that your carpet doesn't mat and end up looking worn out and actually wearing out in a short amount of time.
